Our entire staff is dedicated to providing you and your group with a fantastic experience in the mountains. Whether you're hunting with life long friends, your son or daughter, or alone, we want you to enjoy the whole experience of being outdoors, seeing game, and sharing a fellowship with those who share your passion.

There are many questions when considering a hunt. We've tried to provide information that will help you prepare for a hunt at Coulter Lake. We offer five-day hunting packages based out of our ranch or from one of our drop camps. Packages from either base offer both guided and unguided hunts and include lodging and dinner for arrival one day prior to the start of your hunt.

Our facilities...

Coulter Lake Guest Ranch consists of our lodge and six guest cabins. Cabins are fully furnished and can accommodate from 1 to 7 hunters. Each cabin is heated and has its own bathroom with shower. Some cabins have their own fireplace. All meals at the ranch are served in the lodge.

Guests are encouraged to arrive on Friday before the hunting season to check in, get acclimated, and prepare for the hunt. Those guests staying in a drop camp need to agree their schedule in advance with the ranch to ensure they arrive in time for the pack-in schedule.

Year round adventure...

Coulter Lake Guest Ranch is open all year focusing on seasonal activities. The ranch offers 3 to 6 night packages during the summer centered around our horseback riding programs. During the winter guests take advantage of our winter activities such as snowmobiling, snow shoeing, cross country skiing, sledding, and more. There are miles of groomed trails for winter enthusiasts of all ages and levels. The ranch is just 4 miles from the world class rock climbing of Rifle Park. We are a perfect location for weddings, team building activities, and year round family vacations!
